Funny thing about Yi Xi: She doesn't have an official character design! Unlike other virtual singers like Miku and Teto, some just don't have promo character art. So some fans made something called VIMALION PROJECT, where Yi Xi (among other singers without official designs) has the design primarily used in songs.

I love songs about the Current Mood. The frustration implied in this song as this simmering rage just not having an outlet to be let out is what I think I relate to the most. Just having to grin :) and take everything :) and pretend like it's an opportunity :) or something that has to be learned from :) as opposed to just like, a shitty thing. This song really represents that feeling of being so totally sick of the attitude that every adversity has to have some bright side to it or has to be put into a better situation and because of that it's okay to keep tolerating the shitty situation. Yi Xi's lower voice register has made her a good entry point for a lot of up and coming aritsts who want to go for a more rock style, which not a lot of virtual singers are fit for. She's also been used in a bunch of covers, and because not too many people really use her (as of the time of writing), the ones that do take the effort to make her sound really nice.
