I close my eyes and see your face
A heaven evergreen to fall in place
To spend a moment at your beck and call
I would give my all to you
A fleeting fiction of your face
Our fingers delicately interlaced
You tell me darling, there's no need to fear
Baby, I will stay right here
Strawberry, I don't wanna miss you
But I'm lost without a light to shine through
Strawberry, I don't wanna lose you
Strawberry, I- strawberry-
It's harder every single day
Wishing you could come my way
Find a reason you could stay
But strawberry, I can't help but miss you
Strawberry, I-
I close my eyes and see your face
My every memory set to be replaced
I've grown accustomed to the atom bomb
But is that so wrong of me?
Now every moment is your face
My life in monophonic lowercase
I wanna learn about the highs and lows
Can you show me where to go?
Strawberry, I don't wanna miss you
But I'm lost without a light to shine through
Strawberry, I don't wanna lose you
Strawberry, I- strawberry-
It's harder every single day
Every moment on replay
Hoping you won't walk away
But strawberry, I don't wanna miss you
Strawberry, I-
Just couldn't bear to see you go
I'm but a fool caught in the undertow
Yet my heart aches for you the same
Oh, perfect pattern, don't you fade away
'Cause when I close my eyes again
I'm terrified that I'll forget you then
And if that moment ever comes to pass
I could shatter like I'm glass
I close my eyes and see your face
Oh, gentle heart, I feel your beating race
To be secure within your love for me
I could die inside your dream
hehe strawberry song
Anyway I don't have much to add to this song, it's a Damn These Bitches Gay song for sure, the note from the artist on the bandcamp song says "Apologies to my girlfriend for making a song laser-targeted to make her cry". It exists on here because it's a neat strawberry song, and it's also a nice song to come down from Goin' back to Hogwarts and to lead into The Good Times Are Killing Me, which ends off the first half of the playlist.
For the reccommendations, I have to resist just posting the rest of Constant Companions, because the album's really good, but there's a few tracks from that album on here already. 1
