One of the all-timers from Good Kid 3, which is probably my favorite EP of theirs. A lot of their music falls into that "I like it the more I listen to it" category for me, where a lot of tracks I just kinda find alright until I play them like two dozen times.
I read this as one being unable to tell others about their internal problems despite their accomplishments, along the lines of smiling to keep people thinking they're okay but being unable to get out the reasons why. I get this mostly from the last verse's counterplay of "I can't tell you why" for everything.
As in, I can't tell you that there's an issue, I can't tell you why it's clouded all around me, I can't tell you why there's an issue, that sort of thing.
I want to share all the EPs really because there's tracks in each of them that bang, but I'll resist to keep the reccommendations clean and not like, 8 songs at once
